Meet Scott, President
Our family moved to Franklin from South St. Paul when I was in Junior High School. Growing up in SSP, I was involved with hockey and even though there wasn’t a hockey program in Franklin, the transition was an easy one. The community of Franklin was very welcoming to our family, which is something I will never forget. After high school, I attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – STOUT. Prior to my last semester in college, I was offered an internship at the Franklin State Bank. Then, after graduating from college, I moved back to Franklin and worked at FSB before going to a Bank in Buffalo Lake for a couple of years. It was during my time in Buffalo Lake that I was contacted to see if I would have an interest in "running" the Franklin State Bank. This was a great opportunity for me and I have been fortunate to have been the President of the Franklin State Bank ever since. I’m married to my wife Linda. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. When not working, I enjoy spending time with our family, traveling, golfing, boating, snowmobiling and DIY projects at our cabin.
