Franklin State Bank History

Franklin State Bank is a family owned bank. The ownership of the bank changed in the early 1990s. At that time period, the current family ownership bought the bank and had an interest in keeping a bank in the community of Franklin. This dedication and commitment to keeping the town bank alive is largely why Franklin State Bank is still here today.

Scott Nissen came onto the bank around the change of ownership. Since then, Scott has been with the bank for over 30 years and is currently serving as the President of Franklin State Bank. His first job was as an internship in the last few semesters of college as a Teller and has since served many positions within the bank.
