Fraud is on the rise in our communities and in an effort to continue to educate our valued customers and help prevent fraud in the best way possible we are excited to present this FREE Fraud Prevention Seminar.
About the Speaker
Marty Fleischhacker was appointed by the Minnesota Department of Commerce’s
Commissioner to the Senior Financial Fraud Ombudsman & Civil Enforcement Liaison
position over three years ago. Before that, he served as the Assistant Commissioner
for the Enforcement Division for 5 years. His career at Commerce began in 1999.
Marty’s presentation will include information about the Department of Commerce’s Safe
Senior Program, he’ll summarize the common types of financial fraud and scams, who
is targeted and why, the scope of the problem, tips to avoid becoming a victim and
where to report fraud, among other things.
